Description

The top-of-the-line step climber from the Jacobs Ladder family — safe enough for rehab, capable enough for performance training.

The Stairway GTL is a self-powered step climber that solves three problems with traditional stair climbers: ceiling height, safety, and electronics. It needs only 8.5′ of ceiling clearance (most stair climbers need 9′+). The first step is just 8″ off the floor (most are 12″+). And it’s self-generating — no plug, no battery, no electronics to fail.

The result: a step climber that works in finished basements, in rehab clinics, and for users who are intimidated by the height of a commercial stair climber.

Key Features

  • Self-powered — no AC outlet, no batteries, no electronics to break.
  • 8.5′ minimum ceiling required — works where bigger climbers don’t.
  • 8″ first step — safe for rehab, seniors, and residential users.
  • Four-step system, continuous loop.
  • Commercial-grade build, designed for facility-level use.
  • Under Core Health & Fitness since July 2022 — lead time 2–3 weeks.

Best For

  • Rehab clinics, physical therapy, sports medicine.
  • Residential gyms with standard ceiling heights.
  • Commercial gyms wanting a stair climber that’s accessible to all members.

Manufacturer Warranty

Core Health & Fitness publishes the following limited warranty for the Stairway GTL in the United States and Canada:

  • Consumer (home occupants only): 10 years on the frame (excluding coatings), 10 years on other parts, and 3 years on labor.
  • Light commercial (non-dues-paying facility, under 8 hours per day): 10 years on the frame (excluding coatings), 3 years on other parts, and 3 years on labor.
  • Commercial (dues-paying facility and/or above 8 hours per day): 10 years on the frame (excluding coatings), 2 years on other parts, and 1 year on labor.

Coverage is for the original end user, is nontransferable, and requires product registration. Coverage begins at installation; the registered effective date can be no later than one year after Core ships the product. For a non-dues-paying facility used exactly 8 hours per day, confirm the applicable category with Core. Additional manufacturer terms, exclusions, and claim requirements apply. Review the Core Health & Fitness warranty and linked product warranty matrix.
